The Hautes Pyrénées
Welcome to the Hautes-Pyrénées department, number 65. This is certainly the best-known department in the Pyrenees. It is part of the new Occitania region and the former Midi-Pyrénées region. Its main town is Tarbes, around 35km from the campsite.
The department has a great reputation and offers wonderful holidays in both summer and winter, with its many ski resorts: Domaine du Tourmalet La Mongie Barèges, Cauterets, Gavarnie Gèdre, Luz Ardiden, Saint Lary Soulan, Piau Engaly, etc.
The Hautes Pyrénées is also lucky enough to be able to share some of the "great Midi-Pyrénées sites" with you : Lourdes, Le Cirque de Gavarnie, Le Pic du Midi, Le Pont d'Espagne.
If you're a nature lover, you'll discover a department rich in flora and fauna when you go hiking, cycling or mountain biking.
Ideally located, our campsite will enable you to discover all the treasures of our department, but also to relax all year round at an altitude of 950 metres in the Hautes Pyrénées.
